why would anyone possess a radio with a remote head that cannot attach to
the radio and not also possess the appropriate permanent mounting bracket?
I can't see how a control head can fall if its properly mounted to a bracket
and therefore mounted to an appropriate operating surface.
It seems very silly and unprofessional to have a remote control head kind of
bouncing around the desk or operating position...especially in an EOC
environment.
I think the stands have sticky backed tape on them so they can be stuck to
what ever is convenient, but they also have screw holes so they can be
permanently mounted to something and then detached when necessary with quick
release apparatus.
