Do most HF only radios support 4 function buttons? I know the ones with 2,
440 etc. do but as far as I know most radios I'm familiar with, if it's HF
only the function buttons wouldn't do anything. I can't say about the 590
since I don't and probably will never have one and will certainly never even
look at a 990 on my current budget.
