Hi Albert,

I was loaned a TS-590 by Kenwood to evaluate for accessibility, and the
difference from the 440 and VS-1, is astonishing <smile>. It is a great
radio, providing you can live without a second RX for DXing.

Kenwood have promised to send me the TS-990 when it is launched in the UK,
but of course, the cost difference over the 590 will be significant!
Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

Hi Howard
No new radio yet, but maybe soon! I'm seriously considering the purchase of
the TS-590.I can't decide if I need to buy the matching power supply or if I
can use my TS-440's supply. Of course I'll get the VGS speech unit.
Best 73's,
Albert WA7FXB
