Alan,

The manuals for both the 480 and 590, plus other related guides, are all on

icanworkthisthing.com

I got all the related info for my TS590 when it was new, and am still using
it more than a year later, because there is way too much for me to remember.

Good luck, and enjoy.

Gale

Subject: Menu info for Kenwood 480/590

Has anyone produced either a Braille or text file version of the menus and
their choices for the Kenwood 480 or 590? I just picked up a super clean
480SAT which I will use exclusively on six meters to drive my legal limit
amp, and a local blind ham is going to buy a 590, and has asked me to help
him learn to use the radio. Having an accessible version of the menus and
their choices would therefore be of great help.

Thanks for any replies.
