I had terrible rfi with my 590 and my windom which is fec with coax and a 
4 to 1 ballun.  Oddly enough, the 2000 wasn't bothered.  I bought two line 
isolators, one behind the radio and the other on the output of the amp. 
Absolute magic, rf gone!!!  Here is where I got mine.  I think they are 
called B2KLISO
Coaxial in-Line isolator, 160 TO 2 Meters (1.5 to 175 MHz) LINE ISOLATOR,
