EASI Webcast: Banks and Coombs discuss EASI plans for 2001-2002 primarily
the Certificate in Accessible Information Technology
http://easi.cc and select either webcasts or site index to find the
webcast.  You need RealPlayer to listen.  There is also a text transcription.

EASI has developed a series of online courses on making computer and
information systems onsite and online accessible to people with
disabilities.  Anyone taking five of these courses earn the new Certificate
in Accessible Information Technology given by EASI and the University of
Southern Maine.  EASI also has plans to upgrade its web site http://easi.cc
as well as continuing to provide its listserv discussions to provide rich
networking opportunities.  Dick and Norm talk about these items and much
more.  Not only are there many advances happening in technology, colleges,
universities and businesses are all becoming more aware of the
opportunities provided by these technologies.
