Why adapt your information technology facilities?
It's the right thing to do!
It makes economic sense!
It's the law!

ADAPT-IT is a six-week on-line multimedia course providing an overview

teachers, librarians, computer support staff, ADA compliance officers
and service providers. It focuses on how to set up computing technology
and services for individuals with disabilities. this workshop has been
revised and enhanced in 1998 to include text assignments and web
assignments. New material related to special education and students in
K-12 has also been added. The september delivery will inaugurate the
integration of multimedia into the course presentation with the use of
Real audio and Real video on the web.

The workshop makes extensive use of an e-mail listserv providing
opportunities for you to readily interact with other workshop
participants and with the instructors, Dr. Norman Coombs and Richard
Banks. Besides the on-line components, there is a catpioned video and a
text: Information Access and Adaptive Technology by Carmela cunningham
