Good Morning Everyone,
In our January 23rd edition, at news stands today, our cover story
focuses on Ambassador Andrew Young, one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s
lieutenants, and his appearance at the Overture Center. We also feature
pioneering female sports reporter Jessie Garcia who recounted her
experiences in My Life with the Green and Gold. Madison College President
Jack Daniels III talked about education as civil rights and silver rights at
the state of Wisconsin King Tribute & Ceremony. Quinceañeras are a growing
cultural phenomenon in Madison. Plus we feature the Urban League’s
Outstanding Young People and other King Holiday weekend events. These are
just some of the stories in Your Capital City Hues.
Stay Warm!
