Subject: PRISON

All, below is Cherif's poem. The experience of our African greats like
Mandela, Biko, Soyinka et al, inspired him to write this wonderful piece.
Good job Chayco!!!

Prison

We quench our thirst
With the sweat of our heroes
Who fight our wars alone
To end up within four
Walls of misery and pain.
Rats keep them company
In a place where great
Souls sink to grief,
Yet a place where noble
Thoughts spark off.
Noble deeds, wills and ideals
Lead them to a world where,
In the gloom, their heart
Gives light to our universe.
