Isreali soldiers are also Isreali citizens. When people are backed against the wall and feel as though they have nothing to lose, they find ways to defend themselves. If they are going to die they might as well do so fighting. This mentality resulted to the formation of different resistant groups over the years.

** Please visit our website: http://www.africanassociation.org ** Again, I ask...who, meaning, what group, political, racial, or otherwise, has benefitted from the actions of the Weather Underground? If you want to call them Freedom fighters, fine. Who has been freed? People tend to want to rally around whatever group is yelling and raging against the machine, authority, administrations, or whatever and give them the (verbal) support and backing that they like (it seems to legitimize them in some way, I guess). Due to the actions of the ANC, an entire nation was freed. The actions of the Israeli army (yes, the army...Israeli citizens are not arming themselves against the Palestinians and Israeli citizens are not blowing up Palestinians...the same cannot be said of the Palestinians) are to keep the Israeli people as safe as they can be kept. There are definite, and visible consequences of these actions. The actions of the WU helped...answers, anyone???
