AAM in collaboration with NLP, provides free legal service to Dane County residents. NLP can help with legal problems involving housing, employment, and public benefits . It is part of the University of Wisconsin Law School -- NLP clients receive legal services from law students, who are supervised by attorneys.

NLP offers legal representation, legal information, and informational community education workshops in all their areas of practice.

Examples of types of problems NLP can help with:
· Your employer hasn't paid you for hours that you worked.
· You've been denied W-2 or Emergency Assistance benefits.
· Your landlord is trying to evict you.
· Your employer owes you overtime or didn't pay you the minimum wage.
· You believe your landlord illegally kept your security deposit.
· Your Section 8 voucher is being terminated.
· ....and more....
