Good Evening Everyone,
We hope you are doing well! In our frigid weather-delayed January 28,
2019 edition, we feature Carolyn Stanford-Taylor, Wisconsin's first African
American State Superientendent of Education. Adelante, a newly-formed
political action group is going to push the participation of people of color
in electoral politics up another level. In our center spread, we feature
photos of the Urban League's Outstanding Young Person awardees. Hedi Rudd
profiles Anthony Cooper Sr., one of this year's King Humanitarian Award
recipients. The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is hosting its Heart & Soul
Scholarship Gala on February 9th. Plus we have coverage of many of
Madison/Dane County's King Holiday festivities. These are just some of the
stories in Your Capital City Hues.
Stay Warm!
