After reading Laura's post re Westbrae, I thought I'd send this:

Our local Shop N' Kart - a chain - has started stocking a good
selection of health foods, including gf. They carry SAN-J Organic Whole
Soybean Tamari wheat free soy sauce. The label lists the ingredients
as: water, whole soybeans, salt, and alcohol. They go on to say that
they supplement the alcohol resulting from the natural fermentation with
some fermented from corn, enough to bring the content to 2%, which
prevents the growth of yeast or mold. The address on the label is
   San-J International, Inc.
