    I use Drive Space on all of my computers and I love it. I can copy
a single file to a a CD writer and back up the whole logical Hard
Drive. I also can copy the file to a subdirectory and have an immediate
backup in 5 minutes.

    Drive Space does mount the drives in DOS. It uses an INI file to
decide what files to mount. The INI file is "dblspace.ini" in the root
directory of your Physical Hard Drive C:. Here is a sample of my
"dblspace.ini"

AutoMount=0
FirstDrive=C
LastDrive=S
MaxRemovableDrives=3
MaxFileFragments=289
ActivateDrive=E,C1
ActivateDrive=F,D1
ActivateDrive=Y,D0
ActivateDrive=Z,C0

So this can be interpreted to mean

AutoMount=0
FirstDrive=C
LastDrive=S
MaxRemovableDrives=3
MaxFileFragments=289
ActivateDrive=E,C1    ; C:\drvspace.001 becomes E:
ActivateDrive=F,D1    ; D:\drvspace.001 becomes F:
ActivateDrive=Y,D0 ;My Real Physical Drive D becomes Drive Y and
D:\drvspace.000 becomes D:
ActivateDrive=Z,C0 ;My Real Physical Drive C becomes Drive Z and
C:\drvspace.000 becomes C:

You can edit this file manually.
First make sure that you have it and if you have anyother questions
please ask.
