I have a small (4 cpu) peer to peer network.
An AMD based Aptiva with W98, Office 2000, 32M Ram
A Cyrix 686-P2 with W98SE, Office 2000, 64M Ram
A Pentium 100 based Dell with W98, Office 97, 16M Ram
A Toshiba laptop with W95, Office 97, 16M Ram
Network is cabled with Cat 5 wiring
All cards and hub are 10/100 with autosensing (indicating operating at 100)
Everything worked fine for the first month or so.
Now - the Toshiba refuses to access the network (even itself).
The 686 recognizes the Aptiva and the Dell, but operates at a veeerrrrrry
slow speed.
The Aptiva and the Dell get along without any problems and the Aptiva can
talk to the 686 at normal speed.
All the settings appear to be correct (i.e., nothing changed from original
setups)
Tried changing the card in the Toshiba with another known good card (same
make/model)

Would appreciate any comments/suggestions on how to troubleshoot system.
