hello,

some of you might have heard of the net fax service efax. it gives one a
phone number to use as your fax number when someone wants to send you a
fax. they in turn send the fax to you as an email attachment in the tiff
graphical format. until now, one can then download the file and use
reading advantage or some other ocr software to convert it into text. i
got an announcement today that they will now offer ocr conversion of your
faxes. the standard fax service is free, the service offering ocr; and
other additional fax services; is $2.95 a month plus an additional service
fee based on usage. for those who don't have an ocr program to convert
faxes, this might be worth the money. go to:

 http://www.efax.com
