Hi all,

I'd a problem of mouse not being taken. Replaced mouse, replaced comm port
cables several times, replaced the motherboard, display card, fiddled with
bios settings, IRQ settings and Windows. Had this frustrating headache for 2
days.
Replaced everything that I could think of even remotely might be affecting
mouse or comm port - but no soln.

Out of frustration, I replaced the case itself (SMPS incl) and the damn
mouse worked !

But I don't know how. I have not been able to figure out what case or SMPS
got to do with mouse since everything else was working fine. Anybody has any
logic into this ?
