1.  Chicken eggs are porous.  They easily pass oxygen to the yoke, and
they can pass other things as well.

2.  The intensive antibiotics are primarily a health/yield issue, since
commercially raised chickens are incredibly crowded, pick on each other
to the point of death, and are raised in a totally unnatural type of
environment.  If anyone has the stomach for it, I will describe
privately.

Patty (who used to help her mother-in-law raise 20,000 chickens at a
