I now own a notebook and a HP 5 P scanner that uses a SCSI 2 interface.
Currently I cant use the scanner with my notebook since it doesn't have any
SCSI connections. I am trying to decide between a PCMCIA SCSI adapter or
just buying a Parallel port scanner or a USB scanner. Can anyone offer any
suggestions. Currently I use my scanner with Omni page pro 8 and paper port
to manage stuff to covert it to text or to fax stuff. I also use my HP copy
utility to Xerox stuff and to make enlargements.

Thanks for any suggestions. I am a little confused which would be better
buy a adapter to use an old scanner at about 200 dollars or buy a whole new
scanner that is compatible and offers the features I need.
