Sorry about that, folks - my modem went mad in the middle of the last
message.  To finish off:

Hemp uses less than 20% of the chemicals needed to make paper or wood (fiber
& particle board).  Hemp can be made into biodegradable plastics and
fabrics.  Methane, methanol, alcohol and fuel oil can be made with hemp.  It
grows like a weed without fertilizer.  It is edible.  Hemp is a sustainable
crop.   All parts of it can be used.  As agriculture is here to stay, plants
like hemp should be cultivated, not only for their value but for their
sustainability.
