I think your're rhight here.
Still it's hard for me to imagine a 1 year old eating
brains..
I have eaten brain (of bavarian cow, i think) and was
not very fond of it. Yesterday I met someone claiming
that to have eaten well-tasting br
ain soup in the childhood.

I haven't tested beyond what I told you.
But- how should I should a grown-up test it?
What should happen I ate a raw deer brain?
Our brains *already* have the fatty-acid part in it.
It was built up in early childhood.
Adult brains don't grow anymore.

(just a joke).
My snails are likewise - the eat lettuce and dead snails.
