Hi gang - since I didn't receive the tortilla press to date (it was first
back ordered until 5/30) I looked into yesterday and received the following
e-mail in reference to my inquiry:

"Dear Laurie,
I'm sorry we still haven't been able to ship your tortilla press.  We were
promised shipment by the end of May, but I talked to our tortilla press
supplier and they said it will now be June 15th before they ship.  They were
waiting for a part.  It takes about 5 days to reach us from the East coast, so
the earliest we can expect them now would be June 22nd.I know you are
anxious to use this fine appliance.  I will keep you posted on when we
receive our shipment and  when we process you order and ship your tortilla
press.Thank you for your patience.Sincerely,Win Peterson"

IF I DON'T RECEIVE THIS PARTICULAR MODEL WITHIN A MONTH - I AM GOING TO
SEARCH FOR ANOTHER MANUFACTURER, ETC.  IN THE MEANWHILE I SHALL CONTINUE TO
WAIT AND HOPE...    I'LL LET THE LIST KNOW HOW IT GOES.
