Howdy,
After being gf for a couple months, I went on gluten challenge for three
weeks, had a biopsy that was negative. Went gf again, and was starting to
feel better. Decided to try and confirm cd, so went on gluten challenge
again for 4 weeks and had AGA and AEA tets done. My gp called the lab to
get my results because they were taking so long. Lab said, although a
pathologist hadn't looked at them yet, in their opinion they were negative
and that they didn't process the the AEA test if the AGA test was negative.
They said my AGA count was 4, and that 1-20 was considered normal. I don't
know what that means and neither did my gp. I don't get to see an
experienced gi until november and am continuing on a gluten challenge until
then.
Anybody know what 4 means? Maybe not on challenge long enough?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated, as I have so many trips to the toilet, I
can hardly do my job, can't go out visiting etc...
Thanks,
Ron (Vancouver, Canada)
