Oops, I did it in a dos window (who says DOS is dead?)
and it's called ONHOLD not On Hold.

Open a DOS window and CD to \windows\fonts.
Type in MKDIR ONHOLD and enter.
Close the DOS window.

Now use the explorer to move fonts into it -- and later on, back out.
