Mark, perhaps you've been given some incorrect information about the
Claritin syrup. The adult dose is 2 teaspoons (10 mg) once-a-day (my
son takes the ped dose of 1 tsp once a day) The syrup strength is
5 mg/tsp. We got a prescription for the redi-tabs recently since we
were going traveling and they are great. The adult dose is one tablet
(10 mg) once a day, the ped dose is half a tablet once a day. The
Claritin has really helped Daniel for his environmental
allergies--he's been taking it daily since late April and we've
noticed a big difference.
