hello,

i find i get more positive responces when i make the central point that
lynx is used widely on unix systems and that many, if not most, blind folk
also use it. whatever their reason for wanting to be noticed on the net,
knowing they are potentially excluding thousands of potential users seems
to have an impact. i also find it effective to save a page in lynx
showing the problems it has so they can see it as a lynx user does, i send
it with the message.
only if i get a poor responce or none at all for a site of special
interest do i then remind them that the aturney general has ruled that web
sites come under the access provisions of the ada, as well as the
telecommications act.
regards,

dan dunfee
