I have been looking through the archives for information on folic acid.
Everything I have found seems to indicate that it is recommended that
Celiacs take folic acid supplements.  This is why I was so surprised to
read in my CSA Cooperative GF Commercial Products Guide (3rd
Edition)(page 45)... "Celiacs who use folic acid are strongly advised to
do so only under the monitoring and prescription of a physician because
of the masked side effects which can occur."
Anyone know what these side effects might be?  Thanks.
