Hi to all,
Thanks to all who gave advice about spg sauce and tomatoe paste having
hidden milk derivs in them.  looks like i'll be making home made!
On a lighter note, my almost 3 yr old, who has extreme bouts of eczema from
all  dairy has been in very good spirits about not having any milk
products.  While my husband and my daughter Kyrstin were waiting for me to
register my college courses, they went to the snack machine where he got
her something safe(I hope) .  Before letting her daddy leave the snack
machine she said to him "Daddy do you want to get a chocolate bar? I can't
have it but its ok if you want one!"  Later that same day while at her
"pap-paps"  we waited for grandma to finish preparing dinner, she seen a
candy bar on the table and gave it to her pap-pap and said "here pap-pap
you can eat this chocolate if your hungry , I can't , it has milk"  she
then showed him her rash and told him "see that's why" and then told him he
didn't have a rash so he could eat chocolate.  I find it uplifting to know
that she has good terms with her alergy and has accepted it.  I also find
it hard when a 3 yr old (who has done things like this since before turning
2) can tell someone what has milk in it and a grown up adult ie MIL can't
remember or won't except the fact as many of you have pointed out.  My MIL
is the same way.  Always forgetting about giving Kyrstin milk prods and
telling her poor little girl can't eat anything.  We try to encourage Kyrs!
 I thought my MIL would be the 1st to remember because she has extreme
diabetes and can't eat alot of food herself!!  What are you gonna do?
