Today I visited the 'facilities' several times in short order. It happened twice
during a business lunch with a prospective client. Not a great day.... However,
I realized what happened. As I waited for my toasted bagel with "no butter' this
morning, I noticed the counter lady was smearing creamed cheese over some bagels
and lots of butter on others. She had previously cut them in half with her
knife. She also cut them again after covering the bagel halves with dairy. I saw
cheese/butter on the knife. I should just have said 'no thanks' and walked away.
Instead I brazened it out and paid the price. Dumb huh?
