Yes, I agree. It doesn't compare in any way to the flavor of aged raw
salmon (dripping with oil and the "high" Eskimo flavor) but for the price
and convenience and wildness, you can't beat it!

Why the salt, I wonder? I would love to find a no salt added source of
canned salmon, but have been stumped so far.

Can you explain this idea further? If it is lsted as an ingredient, I gotta
assume it is added salt, no?

Traditional Eskimos reportedly abhored salt. I agree that the salt in
canned salmon probably isn't a huge deal, but why do they bother?

Absolutely scrumptous, I agree. And much easier to eat than dried bones
from fresh salmon! ;)
