Kathy,

Glad you are back home and in a healthier place for the new year. I've
had similar incidents but not nearly as bad. My MIL insists that she
checks labels, but doesn't know what to look for. I usually take
Elizabeth a meal when we visit. What really bugs me is her "poor
Elizabeth" comments. We really try to build up our daughter's self
esteem especially about being different. MIL does not help.

I just about fell out of my chair laughing when my three year old asked
my MIL three times, "Grandma did you check my labels? all of them?"
Out of the mouths of babes, indeed! She knows more at three than MIL
cares to learn.

I sympathize with you and send you a hug :)
Deborah
