Thank you to all who replied to the B6 post on foods instead of vitamins
to get your intake of B6. There were quite a few messages.
These are the foods in which you can find the B6 vitamins:

Chicken
Fish
Nuts
Beans & legumes*
Bananas*
Eggs
Whole Grains
Soybeans
Avocados*
Cauliflower
Green peppers
Potatoes
Spinach
Raisins
Carrots
Peas
Sunflower seeds
Molasses*
Brown Rice Flour*
Cabbage*
Cantaloupe*

*foods with lower amounts of B6

Thanks to Bill in Burlington, NJ, Bev in Iowa City, IA
Cindy in NJ, Nancy, and Elizabeth in VA

Also, Nancy indicated that there is a "B Total" vitamin made by
Pharmeceutical Labs and can be purchased at GNC stores, Thrifty Payless,
some Walmarts, or order from the company 1-800-700-0770 @ $11.95 for a 2
month supply. These are put under the tongue so absorbtion is better.
Elizabeth said her encyclopedia of food and nutrution mentioned the more
protein a person eats, the more B6 is required to utilize it.

Thanks to all. Hope this is helpful.
