I had a cholesterol test yesterday. My previous full test was in Feb
after I had been on Atkins for 2 months. I should have been tested
before I started Atkins.
These are my figures compared to Feb test.

The bloke asked me seriously if I was an athlete!!!???? He said these
were amazing figures. He asked what had I been doing, I said "Sitting on
the couch and eating loads of fat and very few carbs".
He shook his head and said I must "keep doing whatever you're doing". I
have increased my carbs slightly and so the triglyceride levels are a
little higher, but the recommended range is 40 - 160. The cholesterol
ratio should < 4.5
I have never been fat and I do this diet for health reasons only. I am
more Atkins with carbs that Paleo, but I do eliminate gluten, legumes
and dairy.
This diet certainly works for me.
