Anyone familiar with eating or preparation of sea vegetables?

It has just dawned on me that I know next to nothing about sea vegetables
yet was born, raised and lived my life by the sea!

On the other hand, Chinook and coho catching, that is a different story --
"sea vegetables" are just something you tangle your fishing line in :)

I'm thinking that in our modern world, the Paleo-Person will be turning to
more and more sea farming which now includes mostly fish, but what about
"sea vegetables"?
