Jean, I personally know of one child who has been able to eat gluten/casein
after about 6 months on the diet.  My friend assumes the gut has healed, but
does give her daughter gluten/casein free days.  I did ask Dr. Paul Shattock
about this and he thought that in rare cases, this is possible.

My daughter had the huge bulky stools, gas, etc.  Many of the kids do.
