We stick to the clear colored candies like Jolly Ranchers, DumDums, etc.
They're sugar, water, coloring and maybe flavoring.  Don't eat all of the
DumDums (butterscotch, for instance).  If you gotta have chocolate
there's dairy-free chocolate out there - I got some for baking and my son
eats it for candy!  First time he'd ever had chocolate (other than cocoa
powder) and he loved it.  Don't know brands 'cuz I don't buy it (I'm
allergic to chocolate!).
