To Listmates in Northern New England,
There is a bakery in Maine, which now ships breads to many parts of
Maine, New Hampshire and Massachussetts. Their breads are totally free
of dairy products or eggs...in fact there are none in the plant. Most
varieties don't contain oil, either. They taste as good...no,
better...than my own, and are made without any of the conditioners and
all the bad stuff one finds in many breads. If you live in this area I
describe and want to know more, email me directly or call Borealis
Breads in Wells, Maine at (207) 641-8800. Their breads are sold in
small markets, as well as large supermarkets. I promise you I have no
financial interest in this company, despite my irrational enthusiam for
the product. I'm just so pleased when I find a delicious and dependable
product for my family that my milk-allergic son may also enjoy. I even
went there to ask about the milk thing, and they showed me around to
reassure me that there were no dairy products around, and were so
enthusiastic themselves! Now, when I go in, they remember me and ask
about my little boy. Nice folks making a great dairy-free product.
Happy Toasting, Dale Robin Lockman
