Hi,
I was wondering if people would give me some idea how long it took for the
villi to return after being on a GF diet. I had a biopsy recently and the
villi was still flat after being on the GF diet for 2 years. My blood work
is all normal and my doctor feels that since I was undiagnosed for so long
that there was a great deal of damage and it will take more time. In some of
the articles I have read the villi returns very quickly. What is the
experiences you have had? Send the response to the list or directly to me.
Also, I was diagnosed with helicobacter pylori , a bacterial infection in
the stomach and small intestines, and wonder if that would affect the villi
regrowth.
Thanks,
Bev
