I question the validity of this statement. Vitamin E is the only
vitamin I have heard questioned, as it sometimes comes from a gluten
source. All the other questions regarding vitamin tablets center around
the starches, binders, fillers, flavorings, etc. which are added in
producing the actual pill or chewable tablet.

My understanding is that milk is normally fortified with vitamins A & D,
not vitamin E. This leads me to believe that plain milk, even when it
has been vitamin fortified, should be gluten-free. I certainly
question the use of the word "probably" in Scott's statement; I'd say it
is highly unlikely that the vitamins in milk contain gluten.

My children drink a lot of vitamin-fortified white milk. At a recent GI
checkup, the results of the standard celiac blood tests (antirectculin,
antiendomysial, etc.) came back negative. This provides some limited
evidence supporting my claim that vitamin-enriched white milk is GF.
