Two major points about your posting.

Your mother should determine if she is a celiac.  This is only possible
through the assistance of a physcian.

If your mother is a celiac, the diet calls for the avoidance of all
known forms of gluten.  There are no aids to reduce the toxic effects.

I do not mean to sound so strong in my reply, but this is one of the areas
in CD discusiion where there is a single fact.
