Hi all,

Well, what can I say, today was a nightmare.

You all probably know about the outage with cell service on Monday and
today, right?

Verizon had a cable and it was damaged!

Anyway, mine was today, and I had no phone, and with my low blood sugar,
I *HAVE* to have a phone, or I'm dead.

So, I went to T Mobile, and signed up for their service. Well, the
Samsung Gusto 3 phone could not be used with T Mobile. It had no sim
card, those phones have no sim card slot, so, Verizon, just set it up
for me, 3 years ago when I bought it.

So, you know how we were told we could always have our phone numbers?
Not quite!!!

I had google voice, and when T Mobile asked for porting it over, I had
to give them permission to do it, and I could not give them permission
because the computer didn't work, for me to grant permission.

So, I'm one who has a new phone number, the heck with continuing to keep
my phone number I've had for the last 20 years, they don't care anyway,
what we, the public, want.

So, I quit. I'm not going to go chasing people all over the US and
Canada and giving my new number, if people cannot get ahold of me, oh
well, I'm not going to play the chase game.

So, the public has been lied to, about portable phone numbers.

Second thing, email addresses. Don't believe the bull from those
providers who say, "you can always keep your email address, always, it's
yours". Well, not quite.

Right now, I have an AT&T address, but sometime this year or next year,
I will have to give that up, so, there's another lie, that we all in the
public have been told. "oh yes, you can always keep your email address,
forever if you want, absolutely."

Heck no, you can't.

I'm going to try 1 more time, tomorrow, and go to T Moble and see if I
can get my old phone number back, that I've had, for 20 years now!

But we have been lied to, people, about email addresses, and, about
keeping our wonderful phone numbers.

/Then, I had to get a new phone, so, I got the Alcatel go flip phone!

I'm going to try to see if I can find a braille manual. At least
Samsung, had a fantastic braille manual for their gusto 3 phones. The
Alcatel company, has no contact us page on their web site, so, I cannot
contact them, so, so much for a manual, I will ask T Mobile if they have
one, tomorrow, but they probably won't!

Harry, who doesn't give a darn about much of anything at the moment,
because companies do not care about the public in general
