A few weeks ago, I discovered that there was a CAPTCHA preventing me
from signing into Amazon on my PC. I thought this was strange, as I'd
never seen them use one on their site before. I filled out an online
form about it, telling them that they should know better than to not
provide an alternative sign-in method for the blind; and it appeared
that, strangely enough again, later that day, the CAPTCHA was gone.
This, after I received an extremely apologetic e-mail from customer
service. The whole thing made me wonder if I was losing it or
something, as I certainly wouldn't expect them to remove the CAPTCHA
that same day, if at all.

Just now, I tried purchasing something, and once again, I find there's a
CAPTCHA when I go to sign in. Has anyone else experienced this? I've
tried using the "accessible" version of the site in the past but have
run into various problems with it (i.e., not being able to find an Add
to Cart button, not being able to purchase more than one item at a time,
etc.) Is anyone else seeing a CAPTCHA when trying to sign into Amazon?
Rachel
