Wayne,
I am twenty miles west of Chicago.  Are you anywhere near 
Morristown?  That is where my Seeing Eye dog came from.  Enjoyed my stay.
If you go to
WM7D.NET
you can enter callsigns and find out where the hams live, and their 
license class.
