Wayne:

I am located in a town called Big Rapids, Michigan, which is in the
west-central part of the lower Peninsula. It is about 55 miles due north of
Grand Rapids.

Wayne:

A number of years ago, I had a 35-foot tower with which I very successfully
supported and used a KLM tri-band yagi for 10, 15, and 20 meters.

I don't know if you could go much shorter than that, but mine worked well
for me at the time.

Regarding the software I use for keeping a log book, I use something called
Amateur Contact Log (A C log), that has been developed by Scott Davis
(N3FJp).

For the most part, it works fairly well with our usual speech screen readers
and recent Windows operating systems. You can buy A C log alone, or you can
purchase Scott's complete software package for something like $60 these
days. For more info go to:

Hello Tom, Thank uou for you for reply. I have a question, what is the
shortest tower that could be use for a three element rotating yagi beam.
Also what program do you use for keeping a logbook?
