Hmm, it must be something dealing with an upgrade or update that
messed it up. I went into my Outlook settings to double check where I can
turn on or off automatic completion and found two different settings that
seem to relate to that issue, and they were both already checked to be
turned on. However, I found that if I start to type in the name that I want
to send a message to and then, switch to my JAWS cursor and arrow down just
below the edit box I am trying to have automatically filled in, like the
"To" blank or the "CC" blank, I will find the name or a list of names from
which I can select by double clicking on the one I want, and bingo! It
appears in the edit box. That is a total PITA and much more cumbersome than
it used to be when it just automatically filled in what I wanted.

It's very interesting that you bring this up. ... I'm experiencing the exact
same problem here, and don't know how to fix it either.

It started happening to me earlier this week.

So far, I haven't been prevented from doing any necessary e-mails, but the
problem is annoying to say the least.

Subject: Problem with Outlook

Hey, guys, I am having a problem with Outlook that just recently developed.
When I start to type in an address into the "To" line of a new message, it
no longer automatically completes the address for me. I used to be able to
begin typing just the letters bl and the rest of the blind hams email
address would be automatically filled in for me; the same for responding
back directly to any one of you since you all were in my addressbook, but
that no longer works for me, and I cannot see how to turn it back on or how
to get it to work again.

What do I need to do to turn back on the automatic completion function
again? I am using MS Outlook version 2007.
