Interesting, Dave.

I do have Adobe Flash on the home computer. ... It is needed for some
work-related applications.

Come to think  of it, though, Adobe flash is also installed on this work
laptop where I do not have the google tool bar problem.

Hi Tom,

I doubt Microsoft would install the Google toolbar as it is associated with
a competitor, but antivirus and antimalware programs might do it.  I know
Adobe Flash tries to install it.
