Hello, everyone.

I have an interesting problem with my TMV71A, that has my 60-year-old brain
baffled.

There is a new 440 repeater that has come on the air in our local area, and
I am trying to access it.

The frequency is 442.075 MHZ, with a PL tone of 103.5.

I have the auto-repeater function in menu 401 turned on, and the PL tone
correctly set, but can't bring up the repeater.

At first, I thought I was simply too far from the repeater, but then tried a
little experiment that threw that theory out the window.

Our local club's 440 repeater is about a mile from my house, and while I can
key that repeater up from a pre-set memory channel with no problem, if I go
into VFO mode, and enter the repeater parameters, I cannot access that
repeater either.

So, clearly, something is wrong with my VFO B. manual repeater frequency
entry function.

Does anyone have any trouble-shooting suggestions here?

Everything on the VFO A. side which I use for 2 meters is fine. . It's just
VFO B. which I use for 440 where the problem seems to lie.
