ok.  I was trying to get their loop manual scanned.  it is a pdf, but 
graphic.  abbey finereaader did a fair job but lots of mistakes.
it appears that the scan quality of the pdf is between 200 and 250 dots per 
inch.
I think you made a wise choice to stick with the alexloop.
