I bought mine for $50 in 1969 or so.  I had all kinds of problems with 
it.  Main reason I bought it was to get on 160.  Finally sold the viking 
to a c b guy and bought an elmac 67 which I used on 160 until I got my 
Yaesu ft101 e.  Yep, my viking had the tvi kit.
