Ron,

One of the biggest reasons why I have Kenwood radios is the amount of 
audible feedback they provide, either with beeps, CW, or speech.  I don't 
like the idea of having to get sighted assistance, especially when there are 
radios out there with enough audible feedback so I can do things 
independently.  It's frustrating, though, because many of the Yaesu radios 
have very attractive features, but they're all buried in inaccessible menus, 
and that's a deal breaker for me.
